Our Classes

Archery (4th-9th Grade)

Campers step into the exciting world of competitive archery as they learn proper form, safety rules, and beginner training techniques — all with the guidance of Coach Wes. This camp blends skill‑building with plenty of fun, giving young archers the chance to grow their confidence, sharpen their focus, and take their best shot in a supportive, high‑energy environment.

 

This is an outdoor camp, campers should come prepared with sunscreen for outdoor activities. We will have a cooler stocked with ice, water, and Gatorade to keep everyone hydrated throughout the day. Campers will also have access to air‑conditioned spaces, and tents will be set up to provide plenty of shade when we’re outside.

Crafty Collages (2nd-7th Grade)

The Collage Art Workshop invites campers to dive into the colorful and imaginative world of collage. Throughout the week, campers experiment with a wide variety of materials—papers, fabrics, textures, found objects, and more—to design artwork that is completely their own. Collage art encourages creative thinking, problem‑solving, and playful exploration as campers layer colors, shapes, and patterns to build visually striking pieces. Whether they’re crafting abstract designs or storytelling through images, participants discover how versatile and expressive this art form can be. It’s a vibrant, hands‑on experience that sparks creativity and celebrates artistic freedom.  

Minecraft Designers ( Ages 8-14)

Ages: 8 - 14

If you love the game Minecraft and always wanted to design your own world, this class is for you! Learn how to create a custom map, design structures to share between worlds, build with Redstone and Command blocks, and create custom textures for you to import at home or share with friends. Projects from this class require the Java version of Minecraft in order to access your project at home. However, no software is required to participate in the camp.

Drone Adventures (8-14 Years Old)

The Drones are here! Let the battles begin. In this hands-on, interactive class, you will learn how to safely fly drone robots. Working in teams, you will be able to code your drone to compete in missions that will prepare you for the ultimate team challenge at the end of the week. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Basketball (1st-12th Grade)

Ages: 5 - 18

Train with Coach Matt Ridge and the Davidson-Davie Storm Basketball Team this summer! Open to Campers in 1st–12th grade, campers will sharpen their basketball skills, build teamwork, and enjoy fun drills and scrimmages—all while growing confidence on and off the court.

Young Artist (2nd-5th Grade)

Campers  from 2nd-5th grade will step into the world of art by learning to draw, paint, and create imaginative pieces fueled by their creativity. This camp encourages self‑expression, builds confidence, and makes art fun through hands‑on projects and guided activities.

Art (6th-12th Grade)

Electrical (9th-12th Grade)

This isn't your average "sit-and-listen" summer camp—this is a high-energy, hands-on dive into the invisible force that powers our world. Real Tools, Real Skills: No plastic toys here! Campers get their hands on professional tools to explore how mechanical and electrical systems work together.
