Future First Responders (9th-12th Grade)
Ages: 14 - 18
Ready to step into the shoes of real‑life heroes? Our Future First Responders Summer Camp gives high school students a hands‑on look at the exciting world of emergency services. From firefighters and EMTs to police officers and disaster relief teams, you’ll explore what it takes to protect and serve your community.
This camp isn’t just about learning—it’s about playing, experimenting, and imagining yourself as part of the next generation of heroes. You’ll get hands-on with cool activities, team challenges, and future-tech demos that show how courage + creativity + technology = unstoppable first responders.
Campers will be traveling to different first responders locations such as The Sherriffs office, 911 call center, etc during this week of class.
Monday, June 29 AM: CPR & First Aid Certification PM: Visit to Davidson County 911 for a facility tour and mock‑call experience
Tuesday, June 30 AM–3:00 PM: Tour of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Department (campers will learn about forensics, have a dog demo and will get to ask questions and learn the interworkings of our local sheriffs department)
3:00–4:45 PM: Simulation Room training at Davidson‑Davie Community College
Wednesday, July 1 AM: Firefighter Simulation at Davidson‑Davie Community College PM: Garrett’s Towing Demonstration at Davidson‑Davie Community College
Herpetology (3rd-6th Grade)
Ages: 8 - 13
Campers will team up with the Davidson‑Davie Zoo and Aquarium care team to explore the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians. Through hands‑on activities, interactive lessons, and close encounters with scaly and slimy creatures, students will learn about habitats, adaptations, and conservation. This camp is perfect for curious kids who want to discover the secrets of snakes, lizards, frogs, and turtles while building a deeper appreciation for wildlife.

Ages: 12 - 18

Archery (4th-9th Grade)
Ages: 9 - 16
Campers step into the exciting world of competitive archery as they learn proper form, safety rules, and beginner training techniques — all with the guidance of Coach Wes. This camp blends skill‑building with plenty of fun, giving young archers the chance to grow their confidence, sharpen their focus, and take their best shot in a supportive, high‑energy environment.
This is an outdoor camp, campers should come prepared with sunscreen for outdoor activities. We will have a cooler stocked with ice, water, and Gatorade to keep everyone hydrated throughout the day. Campers will also have access to air‑conditioned spaces, and tents will be set up to provide plenty of shade when we’re outside.
Caricature (2nd-7th Grade)
Ages: 7 - 14
Ready to stretch your creativity as far as a cartoon smile? At our Caricature Summer Camp, young artists dive into the playful world of exaggerated features, bold lines, and big personality. Campers will learn how to capture expressions, highlight quirks, and turn ordinary faces into hilarious, stylized masterpieces.
From sketching friends to creating over‑the‑top self‑portraits, every day is filled with laughter, creativity, and “wow, that really does look like me!” moments. With guidance from skilled instructors, students sharpen their drawing skills while discovering how fun it is to see the world through a caricature artist’s eyes.
This camp proves that art doesn’t have to be serious to be seriously impressive.

On the last day of camp campers will participate in a showcase to show off what they have learned throughout the week from 5:30-7:00PM. More information will be sent home on the first day of camp.
Carpentry ( 9th-12th Grade)
Ages: 13 - 18
Hammertime! Campers will learn the very basics of Carpentry such as reading a tape measure, exploring power tools and the importance of “measure once cut twice” all while completing a project throughout the week! Campers must be rising 9th-12th grade to register.
** This camp is off campus at our Thomasville Education Center located at 305 Randolph St, Thomasville, NC 27360
**Campers will turn at the road just before the Thomasville Education Center ( Carolina Ave.) to access the back of the building, where our large garage doors are located as the entrance of our carpentry shop.
Creative Jewelry Making (1st-5th Grade)
Ages: 6 - 11
Jump into a world of color, imagination, and hands‑on fun. Campers will dream up their own awesome jewelry designs, sketch out cool prototypes like real inventors, and bring their ideas to life using bright beads, funky loom bands, and tons of crafty materials. From friendship bracelets to wild, one‑of‑a‑kind creations, every day is a chance to make something new, shiny, and totally YOU. It’s the perfect camp for kids who love to create, design, and let their imagination sparkle.

Music Production (6th-12th Grade)
Ages: 11 - 18
Learn how to record, edit, and create music like a pro in this hands‑on Music Production Camp. Campers will explore the basics of digital audio software, experiment with recording techniques, and build their own beats and tracks from scratch. Perfect for students with a passion for making and mixing music, this camp gives young creators the tools and confidence to bring their sound ideas to life.
