You’ll be a part of our laboratory operations as you help care for the Zoo and Aquarium Science Program’s animal collection on campus. In justone day, we’ll discover hidden features of water with scientific water quality testing, feed everything from the sharks to anemones, provide enrichment through animal painting and even get “elbow deep” to keep the animals healthy. Come get your feet wet as an aquarist for a day!

They’ll hop onto tractors for supervised driving experiences, meet cows and other local farm animals up close, and explore how agriculture shapes our community here in North Carolina.

Campers will dig into vegetable and flower production, plant seeds, tend garden beds, and see how food and flowers grow from the ground up. Along the way, they’ll learn the basics of plant science, discover the many uses of different crops, and get an inside look at small‑scale animal agriculture.
